Do your family and friends sometimes push your buttons? A common problem we see is people complaining of cloudy water. And one of the causes of cloudy water can be poor filtration. That doesn't necessarily mean the filter hasn't been cleaned (although that can cause cloudy water too). It could also be that someone was pushing your buttons and without realizing it may have put your hot tub into Economy mode which causes the hot tub to filter less often.
